Life :: Eat, Sleep, Hack... (EN)

The answer is already clear… Since this page appears at the top of Life, I’m going to write down the things I most wanted to say and write about. In fact, this is what’s motivating me to build this site—for the umpteenth time. When you’re unemployed (without a steady job), life becomes incredibly simple, and you can spend your days doing almost nothing but what you want to do—and you have plenty of time. My coworkers, junior colleagues, and even my kids often ask me things like, “Since you have so much time, why don’t you go on a trip or something?” I’m honestly happy that they care. But when I’m going through a stressful business trip / A tense business trip, just wandering around tourist spots alone brings back memories of the sense of relief and loneliness I felt after those high-pressure trips, so I can’t really enjoy myself. Also—whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing, I don’t know—but at my age, I don’t really seek out such thrilling experiences anymore. Instead, I’ve come to feel that it’s more valuable to tackle the things I’ve left undone and the things I want to do from now on…

The same old complaints from old-timers… This is a record from before I started losing my mind. I’d actually done something like this before—Blog—and I don’t even remember how many times I’ve done it. The first one was hosted directly on my ISP’s server at html; after that, I tried using my own server at docker, and then a shared server with my own domain at WordPress…
There are certainly some lessons I’ve learned from why those efforts didn’t last, so I’ve addressed those issues and started over from scratch. I’ve created a system to ensure continuity and an environment that’s easy to maintain. This time, I want to keep it going indefinitely—I’d like to keep at it right up until the very end of my life.

Since I’m unemployed, I mostly stick to budget-friendly food. I can’t afford expensive meals—it would make dinner too expensive, so that’s out of the question. That’s why I’d like to introduce and share mainly good-value lunch options.
