https://teamknox.com/en/tech/devices/irmagician/index.html Overview irMagician This is a USB-connected infrared remote control adapter (hereinafter referred to as the “IR adapter”) developed in 2014. The biggest difference from traditional IR adapters is that it stores the waveform directly, rather than using codes typical of NEC-type or Sony-type adapters. As a result, it became possible to program the remote control signals for certain air conditioners, which had been difficult with older models. Due to this success, competing products from other manufacturers—starting with the irMagician and later models—have increasingly adopted this method. Hugo en-us
