SMC Mixer :: Eat, Sleep, Hack... (EN)

M-VaveThis was the first, memorable unit that introduced me to the world of these mixers. It seems to be compatible with Mackie, a renowned American mixer manufacturer. That said, I only found out about Mackie after I bought it—I’m a total newbie—but since it’s Mackie-compatible, it’s quite versatile. Of course, I wanted to tinker with software synthesizers, but I was also interested in turning the knobs to control the motor’s rotation. So, I’m using a fader to control the output of the motor control system—PWM—which was a major theme for me back then. Unfortunately, all I’ve managed to build so far is a Chrome extension that displays the interface on the web… but eventually—is this what they call a “Business Logic”?—I’d like to integrate this motor control part as well!
