RoverSometimes I call it “RoboCar,” sometimes “Cyclops” when it’s a monocular setup, and “TriClops” when it’s a Raspberry Pi camera paired withOak D-Lite… But now that it has three eyes, I’ll call it “TriClops.” One thing I can say about this project is that, among all the DIY projects I’ve worked on—including the electronics projects I’ve handled—this is the largest in scale and has the biggest budget. It also incorporates a wealth of various projects I’ve developed so far. As for its current form, let’s call itTriClops-RoboCar.
Robots Are an Engineer’s True Calling
Generally speaking, anyone who calls themselves an engineer wants to present some kind of creation to the world. Well, since that’s possible through my day job, that’s fine, but I also want to do it with something I want to create myself. In my case, this is exactly that for now.
Project
Here, I’ll explain the current robot’s configuration by breaking it down intoMechanics, Hardware, and Software. Since each section is quite extensive, please feel free to ask questions atAIas needed to deepen your understanding.
