Radio

I wonder if my interest in radio waves and other radio-related topics began with BCL back in middle school? When I started middle school, my parents bought me a National Couger RF2200.

After that, my interests shifted to microcomputers, and I drifted away from radio-related topics. Even so, as PCs became more powerful, broadband receivers that could be controlled by a PC started to appear, but they were too expensive for me to buy.

After a few decades, thanks to Moore’s Law, the radio (and its operation) itself had been replaced by software. What’s more, inexpensive dongles are now available. I figured I’d better give this a try.
