End Cap for 20x20

　Misumi’s aluminum frames can be cut to any length and are reasonably sturdy, making them convenient for building simple stands. There’s also a wide selection of accessories, making them even more convenient because you can repurpose them for other uses once you’re done with their original purpose. However, these accessories are more expensive than you might expect, which is a headache for an old-timer maker like me. So, I’ve decided to design and 3D print my own versions of the general-purpose parts I use most often.

• 20x20 End Cap
  When you want to use an aluminum frame but the ends are exposed, it’s dangerous and doesn’t look great. That’s where end caps come in. According to Misumi’s website, the groove width is listed as 6 mm, but when I made them using those dimensions, they fit too loosely. So, I designed them in 6.3mm and pressed them in to secure them.You can download them from here:.
