Life
The answer is already clear…
Since this page appears at the top of my blog, I’m going to write about the things I most wanted to say and write about. In fact, this is what’s motivating me to take on this blog challenge—for the umpteenth time.
When you’re unemployed (without a steady job), life becomes incredibly simple, and you have the time to spend almost every day doing exactly what you want to do. My colleagues, junior coworkers, and even my kids often ask me, “If you have so much time, why don’t you go on a trip or something?” I’m honestly happy that they care. But having gone through ひりついた出張 / A tense business trip, when I’m touring tourist spots alone, it reminds me of the sense of relief and loneliness I felt after those business trips filled with constant tension back then, so I just can’t honestly enjoy it. Also, I don’t know if it’s good or bad, but at my age, I don’t really seek out such exciting things anymore. Instead, I’ve come to feel that it’s more valuable to tackle the things I left undone and pursue the things I want to do from here on out…
