Babyface Pro FS

DTM It’s fairly well-known in these circles, though it might not be quite as well-known among audiophiles. It’s sad that my old-timer ears can no longer appreciate its quality.DTM When I first dabbled in this a bit, I figured, “If I’m going to do this, I might as well buy something good from the start,” so I bought it. Every now and then, a new audio interface comes out, and I get a little excited. Since I can’t really evaluate them anymore, I asked on AI, and I’ve lost count of how many times I got replies like, “You don’t need to buy one—you already have a good one, don’t you?”

Right now, I’m using it in a balanced configuration connected to the Genelec-8010A, which I’ll discuss later. My oldest son says things like, That’s Hikaru Utada’s audio interface and Yasutaka Nakata’s speakers!” and tells me, “When Dad dies, I’m going to use them!”—which might just be the ultimate fulfillment of an old-timer’s dream. I plan to take good care of them.

Attach the flexible arm to the punched holes in the Electra frame and secure it using the 1/4-inch holes shown here:Babyface pro fs. Securing it using these 1/4-inch holes is officially recommended, and various mounting accessories—including third-party ones—have been released. Since I also enjoy that floating sensation, I often secure it this way.

Last but not least, the feature that best defines this device is the “Totalmix fx.” It’s a sound routing feature, but I still haven’t quite figured out how to use it. I have absolutely no plans to do so, but I’d like to master it by the time the “Linux” version comes out.
