Since this speaker appears to be made in Finland, as a former NOKIA employee, I feel a strange sense of kinship with it. The design has a distinctly Nordic feel. Being an old-timer, I don’t really know much about sound quality. However, since it has balanced inputs and a built-in amplifier, I’d say it pairs well with the Babyface pro fs.
The Base I put some thought into how to mount it. I designed the mounting to maximize the desk surface area without encroaching on the floor space. I also made it compatible with the RCA (Unbalance). Initially, it was a mobile setup, but since the LCD change made a suspended configuration impossible, I settled on this mounting method.I’m also using a pan-tilt head. There’s a dedicated mounting plate on top of the pan-tilt head, which I had to order from Germany—it took nearly a year to arrive. Thanks to its integration with the pan-tilt head, I can now freely adjust the angle.
The audio world is full of pitfalls, but even if you just want to listen casually, I think some investment is necessary—so I figure this is good enough. Since this speaker has also been officially designated as part of the legacy series, I’d say it fulfills its true purpose.
