Background
A face-like measuring device sitting in the center of the desk at the Old-Timers’ Lab." The design is quite modern. I wanted to have an oscilloscope permanently set up on my desk, but my previous one—while professional-grade—took up a lot of space, so I upgraded to this one.I traded the old one to a junior at Uhuru, and in exchange, Boss Gama treated me to some yakiniku… -
Features
An oscilloscope, multimeter, and oscillator are all integrated into a single unit. When an oscilloscope and oscillator are integrated, a common concern is whether they can be used simultaneously—but they work together without any issues. In other words, you can set up a signal path from the oscillator to the test object to the oscilloscope. -
Issues
One problem with this old-timer device that I simply cannot overlook is that the beep confirming continuity is a split second too late. That was really bad. As I mentioned earlier, one of the selling points of this meter is that it also has a DMM function, so I wanted to use this permanently installed unit for quick continuity checks. Having to take out thePM-7every single time was something I hadn’t anticipated.
