　Life goes mobile. That’s a parody of a Nokia ad that old-timers love. I guess “everything goes mobile” is a loose translation? Since I love mobile gadgets, I bought it in that spirit. However, for an unemployed, shut-in old-timer like me, it doesn’t really have much use. It only comes in handy when I absolutely can’t solder at my workbench. I’ve probably used it once or twice since I bought it.

　My first impression after starting to use it can be summed up in one word: Light!” It made me realize once again that soldering—or rather, the weight of the soldering iron itself—plays a role in how the components bond. The temperature rises very quickly, so the fact that you can start soldering right away is a big plus. It’s actually quite easy to use, so if you’re the type who does soldering on the go, this might be a good purchase.
