A Busy Weekend

　Basically, for someone who’s unemployed, every day feels like a Sunday, so I handle important tasks on weekdays—just like I would at a job. That naturally leaves my weekends free.

　Since I’m free on the weekends, when people ask about my schedule, I tell them that if it’s a few weeks from now, I’m pretty much free, so they book that time. Then other people ask too… and before I know it, my schedule fills up. Thanks to that, I don’t have to stay home on weekends—I get to spend time with someone. What’s more, the people who invite me know I’m an unemployed old-timer, so they even treat me to things. I’m truly grateful—even my own wife does that…
