AI-Centric Environment
I’m working on a website for the first time in ages, chipping away at it bit by bit. It has a 1998–2000 vibe to it—after all, almost everything is built with static HTML. But I’m not writing the code by hand; I’m dynamically generating it from markdown. Plus, I’m managing it with Git and using CI/CD for deployment. As part of this process, the system also generates English pages and outputs an llms.txt file. Thanks to this setup, I can convert the site’s content into plain text, feed it to an AI, and have the AI explain the site’s information.
This is actually pretty cool—it lets you have the AI answer questions on the site. It’ll be especially useful on Makers, where there are a lot of Q&As about deliverables.
