A massive viral hit?

For some reason, my post about a wideband receiver on 𝕏 went viral. It was just a video showing me using it—I’ve posted similar videos many times before. I’m wondering what exactly about it set people off so much.

While there aren’t many replies to my Re-X (Tweet) or Likes,” the few that are there aren’t exactly positive—or rather, they’re a bit mixed—and that made me feel a little sad. For example, even though the link to the instructions was practically the entire post, someone who seemed to be a college student commented, “Please tell me how to do it,” and regarding a system based on an Android smartphone, someone else said something like, “I have a higher-level license—I can’t do it because I have an iPhone.”With the first one, I think, “If you want to know how to do it, why don’t you just look it up?” And with the second, I want to ask, “You don’t actually need that certification, and there’s no need to give reasons why you won’t do it—and anyway, that photo is from a different phone, right?I wonder what kind of phone that is?” Well, there’s a common saying: “People who give reasons for not doing something—or for why they can’t do it—won’t do it even if those reasons disappear.” Anyway, since it went viral for the first time in a while, I got a little excited and ended up reading all the comments. But I’m glad the wideband receiver I worked so hard to build went viral.
